About Color Profile (ICC Profile)



There are two color profiles (ICC Profile) for each models. Each profile is generated for use of monitor under the adjustment described below. Select the profile to match the adjusted monitor.

(1) Monitor is adjusted to 6500 K

Color Profile: ***D65.icm or *** D6.icm
Monitor Adjustments: FineContrast Mode----- Custom
Color Temperature------ 6500K

(2) Monitor is adjusted to 5000 K

Color Profile: ***D50.icm or ***D5.icm
Monitor Adjustments: FineContrast Mode----- Custom
Color Temperature------ 5000K

NOTE
*
*** indicates the model name of monitor.

* What is the ICC Profile?

A specific file including the color characteristic information for the device, settled by ICC (International Color Consortium)

Settings
  1. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel" from "Settings".
  2. Double click "Display" icon in "Control Panel" and open "Display Properties".
  3. Select "Settings" tab and click "Advanced...".
  4. Select "Color Management" tab and click "Add...".
  5. "Add Profile Association" Windows is displayed and select a directory that the ICC profile is saved in the "Look in:" section.
  6. Select a suitable Color Profile from the list then click "Add".
  7. Select a Color Profile from the list in the "Color Profiles associated with this device:" and click "Set As Default".
  8. Click "Apply" and click "OK" to close a menu.


For using on Windows Me
Settings
  1. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel" from "Settings".
  2. Click "Display" in "Control Panel" and open "Display Properties".
  3. Select "Settings" tab and click "Advanced...".
  4. Select "Color Management" tab and click "Add...".
  5. "Add Profile Association" Windows is displayed and select a directory that the ICC profile is saved in the "Look in:" section.

For using on Windows 2000
Settings

  2. Double click "Display" icon in "Control Panel" and open "Display Properties".
  3. Select "Settings" tab and click "Advanced...".
  4. Select "Color Management" tab and click "Add...".
  5. "Add Profile Association" Windows is displayed and select a directory that the ICC profile is saved in the "Look in:" section.
  6. Select a suitable Color Profile from the list then click "Add".
  7. Select a Color Profile from the list in the "Color Profiles currently associated with this device:" and click "Set As Default".
